Toronto, ON – 13/09/2012 – Forget TIFF. Revel Theatre Collective is back in full swing this September with Piece of Garbage Sex Dungeon: A Night of Sophisticated Comedy. Its second show after a summer hiatus is scheduled for September 16th and features headliners Jenkins Syndrome (Greg Chociej, Jason Donovan, Steve Hobbs, Charles Pond, Laura Salvas, Christopher Youngson).
The September 16th will be hosted by stand-up and recent Canadian Comedy Award winner Steve Patrick Adams and feature improv by the Fingers (Nicole Elsasser, Devon Hyland, Hayley Kellett, Alan Kliffer, Josh Murray, Carolyn Williamson). Fearless improvisers Jess Grant and Cameron Algie will cure our woes with their improvised duo stylings.
Every edition of Piece of Garbage Sex Dungeon: A Night of Sophisticated Comedy is capped off with an all-out totally improvised comedy jam session. At the door audience members are encouraged to put their names in a draw so they can win a chance to join the cast. Not only will you have the chance to play with some of Toronto’s hottest improvisers, winners will also get their money back from the door. It could be you!
Piece of Garbage Sex Dungeon: A Night of Sophisticated Comedy happens every Sunday at 8pm at artist-run venue Unit 102 (376 Dufferin Street) located on the edge of Parkdale. Tickets are $5. After the show audience members are invited to join the cast at a nearby watering hole to keep the party going.
