Toronto, ON – 01/09/2012 – Revel Theatre Collective is bringing back its Sunday night improv showcase Piece of Garbage Sex Dungeon: A Night of Sophisticated Comedy after an oh-so-long sultry summer break. The Sex Dungeon reopens September 9th with a killer show anchored by gung-ho headliners Sex T-Rex (Conor Bradbury, Julian Frid, Colin Munch, Sean Murray, Robin Toller).
The September 9th show will feature improv by Elbow Dragons (Paul Barnes, Lance Boyd, Nicole Callendar, Molly Davis, Andy Fitch, Jeremy Friedmann, Nelu Handa, Bobby Homer, Laura Marijan, Amber Purnis, Allana Reoch, Lara Tai) and Corgi in the Forest (Andrea Ballantyne, Chris Besler,Maria Hajigeorgiou, Ryan Maule, Courtney Walker and Jason Donovan). Hosting the show will be stand-up DJ Demers (Canadian Comedy Award and Tim Sims Award nominee).
Every edition of Piece of Garbage Sex Dungeon: A Night of Sophisticated Comedy is capped off with an all-out totally improvised comedy jam session. At the door audience members are encouraged to put their names in a draw so they can win a chance to join the cast. Not only will you have the chance to play with some of Toronto’s hottest improvisers, winners will also get their money back from the door. It could be you!
Piece of Garbage Sex Dungeon: A Night of Sophisticated Comedy happens every Sunday at 8pm at artist-run venue Unit 102 (376 Dufferin Street) located on the edge of Parkdale. Tickets are $5. After the show audience members are invited to join the cast at a nearby watering hole to keep the party going.
